GP® 4864 triazone resin is used in a variety of industries as an extender, solvent or reactive diluent with melamine-formaldehyde, phenol-formaldehyde, melamine-urea-formaldehyde and urea-formaldehyde binders.
By extending the base polymer, GP 4864 triazone can provide an overall lower manufacturing cost while maintaining the properties and performance of the end product.
It is high temperature stable so it can be used under high temperature conditions. It is also applicable for water-based formulations and can increase water miscibility. As a result of its many attributes, GP 4864 triazone enables formulation flexibility.

GP 4864 triazone resin should be stored in clean, stainless steel or glass fiber containers at 59°F - 77°F.
